You reached the HomePage of Pietro Pala, Associate Professor of Informatics Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Firenze.
Pietro Pala received the Ph.D. in Information and Telecommunications Engineering in 1997 at the University of Firenze, Italy. Presently, he teaches Database Systems and Image and Video Analysis at the course of Informatics Engineering and Multimedia Systems at the Master in Multimedia Content Design of the University of Firenze.
Pietro Pala is head of the groups deputed to the evaluation of quality, according to the CRUI 2007 model, for the course of Informatics Engineering and the course of Master in Multimedia Content Design.
His main scientific and research interests include Pattern Recognition, Image and Video Databases, 3D Models Retrieval and 3D Face Recognition.
